What if I don't like what you have done with my room?
Accent on Design is successful because we pride ourselves in listening to our clients and respecting their wishes. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied, we will work with you to resolve the underlying reasons to ensure your experience is positive.

Should I be in the house while you are working?
At Accent on Design, we like to unveil the room fully completed to our clients so that the ongoing design process doesn't impede the homeowner's reaction to their newly redesigned space. A friend or neighbor can be present if it makes you more comfortable. The process goes more smoothly if the homeowner is not present during the redesign. Of course the option is always the client’s and we respect that choice.

Will you change my furniture, art or accessories in any way?
During the initial consultation, we go through the space with the homeowner to learn what pieces are important and to get a general feel for the homeowner's style. We ensure that much loved items are not edited out of the final design. Our intent is to help you find your unique style with what you already have. It is through the artful rearrangement and editing of contents that we achieve our results.

Will I have to buy anything?
We try to use what you have, but sometimes key pieces are needed.  We do offer personalized shopping for furniture, art, accessories and even bedding. We can also recommend stores that suit your style if you want to shop for your home. These options are discussed with you at the consultation.

How much is this going to cost?
Since every house is different the cost depends on what is required as well as the square footage and time spent on helping you achieve the vision for your home. For every space, the initial consultation fee is $105.00 and the hourly shopping rate is $85.00.

Before any work has begun we discuss the budget as well as fees and a deposit is held. When the work is completed the remainder of the invoice is paid in full.
